Visit to the oldest beer brewery in Estonia and swimming competition

Before noon on 26 April two timeless buses stopped at the Saku Brewery. The Mercedes Benz O303 had departed from Tartu in the morning and the fancy red Ikarus Lux 55 from Tallinn.

These two buses brought more than 50 association members to the Saku Brewery. The Head Brewmaster Tarmo Tappo personally answered all the specific questions the bus drivers had. The guide introduced us the history of the Saku brewery and the production processes of different beverages, later we got to taste 10 different Saku products.

After the thorough tour at the brewery we lunched at the Saku Brewhouse Pub. Next, the bus drivers got to listen to a lecture by physiotherapist Katre Lust-Mardna, who explained why lower back aches, which are the best exercises to prevent this pain, what to do with an extremely painful back and other exciting health facts.

Following the health lecture the group headed to the Laulasmaa Spa to spend a reviving afternoon. The water treatments and relaxing saunas invigorated the bus drivers from the long winter and the ride home already had a much more upbeat tone.
